Balakhani is one of the highest settlements in Azerbaijan. The meaning of its name is “bala” – high, high, “xana” – house. The name of Balakhani, one of the ancient settlements of our people, was used for a while along with the word “zibilik“. The reason for this is that the place where household waste is collected – the Balakhani Solid Household Waste Recycling Plant – is known among the people as the “Balakhani dump”. However, as a result of the major renovation work carried out in this settlement in recent years, Balakhani is already on its way to becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations.

Despite being a small settlement, every condition has been created here for guests to relax and enjoy their time.
